The Rheo Vacuum Transfer Station is the new workstation for vacuum conveyance. This portable workstation combines the ergonomics and modularity of the Material Transfer Station with the functional requirements of a vacuum transfer system.

This Material Transfer Station can utilize any vacuum source and delivers a complete package that addresses ergonomics, containment, and inerting concerns often associated with material transfer systems.

Rheo can provide the entire material transfer package including the vacuum pump and receivers or we can utilize your existing vacuum system to deliver a more ergonomic and contained dump station.

Containment

The Vacuum Transfer Station comes in three containment options:

Full perimeter dust extraction with ventilation sleeve on the Vacuum Transfer Station for standard containment

Standard Containment

This system uses a Ventilation Sleeve under the worktable surface to provide full perimeter dust extraction.


Convert the Vacuum Transfer Station from open transfer to a high containment configuration using single-use glovebags

Single-Use RABS System

By utilizing your choice of single use glovebags, the MTS can be quickly changed from the open transfer configuration to a high containment configuration for potent powder transfer.

The Rheo glovebox isolator with our high-flow HEPA filtration provides a high-containment WIP transfer station for dispensing potent powders into a vacuum transfer hopper.

Integrated Ventilation Sleeve

The integrated Ventilation Sleeve delivers the Rheo designed, full perimeter dust extraction technology to the underside of the Vacuum Transfer Station work table. This sleeve is designed to create a down that pulls the air away from the operator’s breathing zone and into the local dust collection system. The small size and easy to remove features of this sleeve are ideally suited for a quick cleaning process.

Rigid Glovebox Isolator

The Rheo Vacuum Transfer Station can be designed with a rigid glovebox isolator for highly toxic products and APIs requiring closed transfers. The oxygen concentration and pressure in the glovebox can be controlled using a programable logic controller to maintain a safe working environment. Integrated spray balls can be used with a wash-in-place system to quickly wash the glovebox between batches.

  • Exhaust Connection: minimum pressure of 3 inch WC (745 Pa), recommended flow rate of 450 cfm (190 L/s)
